Xavier Admission Test (XAT) 2009
About XAT 2009
XAT is the common entrance exam for admission to management programs of XLRI Jamshedpur and 60 other associate isntitutes that accept the XAT score. XAT 2009 would be held on 4th of January 2009 from 10.A.M. The test would be of 2 and half hours duration and would be conducted on 31 cities across India. XAT 2009 Eligibility
A bachelors degree under 10+2+3 system recognized by a university or a deemed university is eligibility criteria for XAT. Those completing their final examination by June 10, 2009 are also eligible for the exam.n

XAT 2009 Registration Procedure
Step 1 : Obtaining Bulleting. A candidate can obtain XAT Bulletin from select branches of AXIS Bank on payment of Rs. 800/- (Rupees eight hundred only)

A Candidate has to make a demand draft drawn in favour of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" for Rs. 850/- (Rupees eight hundred fifty only) payable at Jamshedpur for obtaining XAT Bulletin from XAT Office
Step 2 : Registration :
- The candidate has to visit the website www.xlri.edu and go to XAT Registration. Here he/she has to fill in the online XAT form. The information to be provided includes demand draft number, date and personal information. After online submission the candidate will immediately get his/her XAT ID and password.
- Once the candidate provides the application details for XAT associate institutes he/she can proceed to take the printout of XAT Payment Advice cum Photo Form (XAT PP Form).
- The candidate has to paste his/her recent photograph and put full signature in the designated space provided on the XAT PP Form. Mention your XAT ID and your name on the reverse of the DD. The candidate has to enclose the demand draft along with the XAT PP Form and send it by registered post / speed post / courier so as to reach XAT Office, XLRI Jamshedpur on or before December 05, 2008.
- XAT office, XLRI Jamshedpur will send the XAT Bulletin after receiving the XAT PP Form & DD for those who opted to obtain it from XAT Office.
- The candidate has to keep a printout of XAT ID and password for any modifications to personal details, taking a printout of XAT 2009 Admit Card and for any correspondence with the XAT Office.
- The candidate has to go online to www.xlri.edu anytime during December 18, 2008 and January 01, 2009 and can take a print out of the XAT 2009 Admit Card where the Address of the Test Centre will be mentioned.
