All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2009


 

About AIEEE 2009

AIEEE is conducted by the central board of secondary education (CBSE) along with the involvement of MHRD- ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary and Higher Education and the government of India. It is held for the candidates seeking admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses in different engineering colleges and institutes in India.



AIEEE 2009 Important Dates

Sale of AIEEE Information Bulletin containing Application Form from 05.12.08 to 05.01.2009
Online submission of application on website www.aieee.nic.in 05.12.2008 to 05.01.2009
Last day for requesting application form by post December 15, 2008
Last day for online submission of applications January 5, 2009
Last day to submit application forms at AIEEE Unit January 10, 2009
Date of Examination April 26, 2009

AIEEE 2009 Eligibility

The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE for consideration of provisional admission.

Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech. and B. Arch./B. Planning Courses shall be as under:

B.E. / B.Tech Physics & Mathematics Chemistry, Bio-Technology, ComputerScience, Biology
B. Arch / B.Planning* Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at10+2 level  

Examination Scheme & Paper Structure

Candidates opting for degree courses in Engineering / Architecture would be required to undertake test in the following papers:
