Career in Journalism can be broadly divided in three categories:

Print Journalism : In print journalism one can work as editors, reporters, columnists, correspondents etc.

Electronic Journalism : Electronic journalism includes working for Radio, Television
etc.

Web Journalism : In the web, skilled people are required to maintain sites by web newspapers.

Journalists are also responsible for shaping opinions and perceptions about key issues that are prevailing in a society.
